CORNELIA MACHULETZ počela je svirati violinu sa šest godina. Godine 2013. primljena je na Sveučilišta za glazbu i kazalište u Hamburgu u klasi profesora Sebastiana Schmidta. Početkom 2014. prelazi u razred profesora Laurenta Albrechta Breuningera, s kojim trenutno studira na Sveučilištu za glazbu Karlsruhe. Diplomirala je u veljači 2021. Kao solistica nastupala je na koncertnim turnejama po Japanu, Poljskoj i Njemačkoj. Sudjelovala je na mnogim majstorskim tečajevima za solo violinu i komornu glazbu.
Osvojila je 1. nagradu na natjecanju Jugend musiziert 2016. u kategoriji solo violina, kao i posebnu nagradu japanske zaklade Irino. Iste godine dobila je godišnju stipendiju Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz. Kao pobjednica 25. natjecanja Njemačkog fonda za glazbene instrumente u Hamburgu, Cornelia je od veljače 2017. stipendistica Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben.CORNELIA MACHULETZ began playing the violin at the age of 6. In the year 2013 she was accepted as a junior student at the University of Music and Theater in Hamburg in the class of Professor Sebastian Schmidt. In early 2014 Cornelia transferred to the class of Professor Laurent Albrecht Breuninger, with whom she is currently studying at the University of Music Karlsruhe. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in February 2021. As a solo performer, the young violinist was already seen on concert tours in Japan, Poland and Germany. In addition, she took part in many masterclasses for the solo violin and chamber music.
She was also awarded 1st prize in the Competition Jugend musiziert in 2016, in the category solo violin on the federal level, as well as a special prize of the Japanese Irino Foundation. That same year she received a years’ scholarship from the Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz. As a prizewinner of the 25th Competition of the German Musical Instrument Fund Hamburg, Cornelia is a recipient of the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben scholarship as of February 2017.
