Luka LJUBAS

HRVATSKA, 1996.

Luka Ljubas rođen je 1996. godine u Beču, u hrvatsko – japanskoj glazbeničkoj obitelji. Prvu poduku iz violine je dobio od svoje majke, a potom nastavlja učiti u Muzičkoj školi Margareten u Beču u klasi profesora Arkadija Winokurova. Godine 2006. započinje studij violine na Državnom konzervatoriju u Klagenfurtu u klasi profesora Briana Finlaysona. Godine 2012. upisuje predstudij na Muzičkoj akademiji u Beču, a od 2015., nakon uspjesno polozenog prijemnog ispita postaje i redovni student u klasi profesora Gerharda Schulza. Luka je dobitnik brojnih prvih nagrada na nacionalnim i međunarodnim natjecanjima. Tijekom svoje dosadašnje karijere, često je koncertirao u Austriji, između ostalog u bečkom Konzerthausu i na brojnim međunarodnim pozornicama – u Armeniji, Ujedinjenim Arapskim Emiratima, Italiji, Sloveniji i Japanu. Svirao je kao solist s Koruškim simfonijskim orkestrom, Bečkim komornim orkestrom, Artsakh sinfonie orchester, Schönbrunner Schloss orchester, Academia Ars Musicae, Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, Carinthian Chamber orchester i Kammerorchester Krems. U sklopu jednog radio portreta emitirana je i snimka njegove izvedbe violinskog konzerta od J. Sibeliusa. Više puta su na Austrijskom radiju emitirane njegove snimke “Ravel-Tzigan”, “Introduction et Rondo Capriccioso”, ” Zigeunerweissen” i “Passacaglia”.
Pored svoje solisticke karijere, Luka njeguje i komornu glazbu, pa je tako više puta nastupao sa sljedećim umjetnicima: Erwin Kropfitsch, Jeremias Fliedl, Rohan de Silva, Mark Kinkaid, Nadja Höbarth i Ekatarina Rumyantseva. Od nedavno se posvećuje i pedagoškom radu kao docent na “Sommer Musikakademie Feldkirchen”.
Polazio je brojne violinističke majstorske tečajeve, kod So – Ock Kima, Pavela Vernikova, Eszter Haffner, Igora Ozima, Rodneya Frienda i Yuzuko Horigame.
Veliku podršku u svojoj glazbenoj karijeri dobiva od poznate bečke graditeljice violina Christine Erix koja mu vrlo često ustupa prestižne violine i gudala.
Od godine 2014. Luka svira na torinskoj violini Giovanni Battista Guadagnini, iz 1783. – 1785. godine. Ovaj instrument dobio je na korištenje zahvaljujući ljubaznosti gospođe Andree König i čuvene glazbene kuće Beare’s International Violin Society iz Londona.
Luka Ljubas was born in Vienna to a Croatian-Japanese family of musicians. He recieved his first lessons from his mother and at the Music School of Margareten in Vienna, in the class of Prof. Arkadij Winokurov. He has been studying with Prof. Gerhard Schultz at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna since 2012.
Luka Ljubas is a prize-winner in many national and international competitions. He has performed in concert halls throughout Austria, including many performances in the Konzerthaus of Vienna, and on the international stage in such countries as Armenia, U.A.E., Slovenia, Italy, and Japan. He has been a soloist with the Carinthian Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the Artsakh Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of Schönbrunn Castle, Academia Ars Musicae, the Orchestra of Padova and Venice, Carinthian New Chamber Orchestra, and the Chamber Orchestra of Krems.
Portions of his recording of the Sibelius Violin Concerto were introduced on the Austrian Radio program „Intrada“ in the framework of a portait. His recordings „Tzigane“, „Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso“, „Zigeunerweisen“ and „Passacaglia“ have been broadcast many times from the Austrian Radio Station ORF.
Along with his solo activities, Luka dedicates himself to chamber music, together with artists such as Erwin Kropfitsch, Jeremias Fliedl, Rohan de Silva, Mark Kinkaid, Nadja Höbarth and Ekaterina Rumyantseva. He has recently also been involved in pedagogical activities, such as instructing at the Music Academy of Feldkirchen in 2016.
He has received musical impetus in master classes with So-Ock Kim, Pavel Vernikov, Eszter Haffner, Igor Ozim, Rodney Friend and Yuzuko Horigone.
The Viennese Violin-maker Christine Eriks has supported Luka Ljubas throughout his career, by lending excellent violins and bows.
He has been performing since 2014 on a violin by Giovanni Battista Guadagnini, made in Turin between 1783-1783. This violin has been kindly put to his disposal by Andrea König through the „Beare´s International Violin society“ of London.
