Galiya ZHAROVA

KAZAHSTAN, 1991.

Galiya Zharova was born November 22, 1991, in Almaty, Kazakhstan. She graduated the Central School of Music, she was studying at Hanns Eisler Hochschule fur Musik in Berlin with prof.Stephan Picard and now she is studying at the Moscow Conservatory in the class of Alexander Vinnitsky. Galiya has won second prizes at the David Oistrakh Moscow International Violin Competition and Leopold Auer Competition in St.Petersburg, first prizes at the Beethoven International Violin Competition and “Andrea Postacchini” International Violin Competition, Gran-Prix at the Fourth Violin Competition in Astana(Kazakhstan). Also she is a winner of Mariya Yudina Chamber Music competition in St.Petersburg. She has performed as a soloist with the Almaty Philharmonic Orchestra, State Orchestra of Russia, Kalinigrad Symphony Orchestra, Turku Philharmonic Orchestra. Galiya has participated in master classes under Victor Tretyakov, Haim Taub, Vadim Gluzman, Boris Garlitsky, Itzhak Rashkovsky, Ivry Gitlis, Ani Schnarch.
